Papers of Henry Heth [manuscript], 1763-1841.

Correspondence, contracts, receipts, and other business papers deal mainly with Heth's coal business in Manchester, Va. (now incorporated in Richmond, Va.) There are autographs of some Revolutionary War figures including John Marshall, James Monroe, John Page, Edmund Randolph, Thomas Mann Randolph and George Washington. In addition there is a return of taxable property for the year 1788, Richmond, Va.
